Sometime in the early years of Queen Victoria's reign a young Yorkshire woman named Jane Hunter met and married a quarryman called William Horrocks. We hope to uncover their history and lineage and share it with generations of cousins around the world.

Ellen Horrocks
Ellen Horrocks was the eleventh child & seventh daughter of George Hunter Horrocks & Sarah Mason Smith
She was born in the Jun qtr. 1887 & baptised at St Cross Church, Clayton on 18 May 1887. Sadly, Ellen's death was registered in the Sept qtr. the same year.
